SRK launched new production house in USA

Shahrukh Khan has taken up a new venture! The actor has launched a new production house called RED CHILLIES USA in the United States and he has a new mission.

SRK didn't want to orchestrate a big party to launch his new project but instead the actor and the head of Red Chillies USA, Shaija Gupta, "want the work to speak for itself", Shailja told the Indian Wall Street Journal today.

Shahrukh Khan play's FIFA GAME with crew

Shahrukh Khan who is currently busy in shooting for Yashraj's untitled movie with Katrina Kaif in London has been spotted Playing Playstation with Vaibhavi Merchant's Dance crew.

Shahrukh Khan who is missing his family members in London has tweeted,"Raindrops on my window pane....missing family. Happy wife & babies will be in london soon. The ...heart needs some warmth."

Shahrukh Khan who is well known to spend quality time with his kids,specially spending most of the time playing game station loves to play FIFA game with his kid Aryan. Interstengly Shahrukh Khan after finishing rehersals for Song shoot has taken out some time and started playing FIFA game with Dance crew.

According to the sources,"Shahrukh Khan has invited the dance crew in his hotel room,gifted them FIFA game cds and started playing with them."

The SRK-Kat starrer is scheduled for a Diwali release that is, the festive time when Yash Chopra movies have light up many homes worldwide, over the years.

Yash Chopra is currently directing this year’s most anticipated film in London with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif.

The film which was called ‘Production 45’ by Yash Raj Films has finally been titled.

BollyNews UK has learnt that Yash Raj Films has chosen ‘London Ishq’ as the title of the film. Reportedly, the production house decided on the title from three choices. The title ‘Hum London Mein Mile’ was also considered for the film.

It can be noted here that Preity Zinta’s comeback film which she is currently shooting in France has a similar title; ‘Ishqk in Paris’.

Shah Rukh and Katrina have been filming different song sequences with choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant for the last two weeks here in the capital. An A.R Rahman track that is being shot at an undisclosed location in Central London for the last three days is reportedly a club song.

Yash Raj Films has also recently released images from the film of Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif after a number of pictures from the shooting appeared online.

'Ra.One' wins National Award for Best Special Effects

Panned by many critics, Shahrukh Khan’s highly expensive dream project Ra.One has got a nod at the National Awards. The film has won the honour for the Best Special Effects.

At the 59th National Awards announced in New Delhi on Wednesday, Harry Hingorani and Keitan Yadav won the award for their special effects work in Ra.One.

The film was made in both 2D and 3D and was praised for its VFX though the critics panned it for its flimsy story and poor acting. Shahrukh Khan had worked very hard to ensure the cutting-edge quality to the visual effects in the film.

Ra.One is said to have been made at the whopping budget of Rs. 150 crore.

Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan in the race to play Lord Krishna?

Busy schedules and back-to-back movies are keeping Akshay Kumar so busy that he wants someone to replace him in his home production Oh My God. What’s the role? Akshay was supposed to play Lord Krishna, but now he and director Ashvini Yardi are keen to rope in either Shahrukh Khan or Salman Khan to play the God in the film.

The film is a screen adaptation of Paresh Rawal’s Hindi play Krishna vs Kanhaiya and the writers now plan to twist the role of the main protagonist, who will play Krishna, depending on who signs on for the part. According to the source, “Till Akshay was playing the role, they were sure what they wanted. But now since that has changed, the director is more than willing to change the script to suit the star.”

Both Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan are friends of Ashvini, and anyone could be on board. But then, don’t both the Khans have movies lined up this year? Shahrukh is shooting for Yashraj’s untitled film till October, and soon after will start working on Rohit Shetty’s film Chennai Express.

Salman Khan, on the other hand, has Dabangg 2 on his mind. The star will start shooting for the film next week, and it’s said that he will be busy with his other home productions after that.

So, under these circumstances, it’s yet to be seen who will play the God in Oh My God. Director Ashvin Yardi says, she is working on the cast.

Shah Rukh Khan 'protects Katrina Kaif from stampede'

Shah Rukh Khan is reported to have protected Katrina Kaif from a stampede on the set of their new Yash Chopra project.

Khan was seen to place a protective arm around Kaif on the crowded set, to prevent the actress from getting trampled.

"The set had close to 300 actors, dancers and artists in for the first day of our new song. When the call for lunch came, there was a sudden rush to get to the canteen, and SRK had to shield Kat from the stampede," said a production source.

The Ra.One star reportedly shared a takeaway lunch on the UK set of their new film on Tuesday.

"Kat was feeling hungry during the shoot of a song-and-dance sequence in central London, so ordered in a takeaway burger. Seeing Kat tucking into the snack, SRK grabbed a bite from the burger, and the two finished it off between them," the production source added.

Khan recently praised 'Production 45' co-stars Kaif and Anushka Sharma, responding to a fan's question about which female Hindi stars he enjoys working with.

Khan posted : "All my co-actresses have been wonderful...so r Katrina and Anushka for this film... hardworking... honest and humble (sic)."

The YRF project is scheduled to release Diwali 2012.

Bad News! SRK got injured while shooting

SRK got injured while shooting for 'YASH CHOPRA' film at the London Studios. He fell down and hurt himself very badly.

A member from the unit revealed that SRK, "SRK tried to use the first-aid kit to nurse his hand, but then he realised that the injury required professional attention. His skin on his right hand had peeled off and so, he had to take a break from the shoot. Everyone on set was very concerned, but he did not let it affect the shoot," added the unit member .... !!!!

Shah Rukh Khan-Katrina Kaif: First Look In Yash Chopra’s Film

Looks like Shah Rukh Khan is using another stringed friend to woo a pretty lady, only this time it’s Katrina Kaif!

While Shah Rukh had a mandolin for Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, it’s a guitar for this Yash Chopra film. The untitled film is the first time SRK will be seen romancing Katrina Kaif on screen. The film also stars Anushka Sharma.

This film will have music by A. R. Rahman and lyrics by Gulzar. The SRK-Kat-Anushka starrer is set to release on Diwali 2012.
