Shahrukh and Salman go back to their roots

You may travel the world but there's nothing like coming back home. It looks like the famous saying suits our Bollywood biggies more than anyone these days.

Life has come full circle for the two reigning stars of Bollywood, Salman and Shahrukh Khan. After spending two decades in the industry, the two powerhouses of Bollywood are back to their basics. Salman, who shot to fame with director Sooraj Barjatiya's MAINE PYAAR KIYA, is back with his mentor. It is being said that Salman is all set to step back to play the iconic Prem, which was once made popular by him, in Sooraj Barjatiya's upcoming film. Both are planning to work together again.

While superstar Shahrukh Khan, who ascended to super stardom in Bollywood with DARR and DILWALE DULHANIA LE JAYENGE and emerged as the blue-eyed boy of YRF by giving back-to-back blockbusters, is returning to the camp. The SRK-YRF jodi which created wonders is back to charm people. Shahrukh Khan is currently shooting for a Yash Raj production where he will romance two lovely ladies, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The untitled film is slated for a Diwali 2012 release.

It's interesting to see the two superstars Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan going back to their roots and reiterating the magic, which they had once created.

Its not ‘LONDON ISHQ’ Says YASHRAJ

From Past few days there where lot of media reports on Shahrukh Khan,Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma starrer film,Titled as 'London Ishq' which was speculated by an British member and it was carried out by media by seeing the clap board pic which has London Ishq written on it.

Accoring to Yashraj flims,"The title "London Ishq" is completely baseless, inaccurate and detrimental to the film. Await our announcement of the title of this much awaited film."

"The Clapboard with London Ishq title is used as temporary,wait for the official annoncemnt from Yashraj,"Adds Yashraj team unit.

Yash Chopra's directorial venture has created quite a buzz ever since its announcement as it will see him returning to direction after eight years.The untitled movie brings the Blockbuster pair A.R.Rahman and Gulzar together.The film is schudeled for release around this Diwali.

A little birdie has sent us the proof that at least for now London Ishq is the name of the Yash Chopra film starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

This picture was dropped to our mailbox over the weekend. Look closely at the bottom of the clap board!

Since the name is out, no telling if this was a red herring or the truth! We will be sure to report it when it comes in!

Vidya Balan to give company to SRK in Kolkata?

Shah Rukh Khan was recently appointed as the brand ambassador of West Bengal, and if reports are to be believed, then Vidya Balan may soon accompany SRK in that spot.

Latest media reports suggest that post the success of Kahaani, which was set against the backdrop of the metropolitan city Kolkata, Vidya might be appointed its brand ambassador.

Vidya is a self-confessed fan of the city and is said to have deep connection with Kolkata. Interestingly, in her debut film Parineeta, Vidya played the character of a Bengali woman. Her love and understanding of the city can be traced to the people around her, from her best friend Raima Sen to her favourite designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who are Bengalis.

She has often declared her love for the art, culture and food of the city.

The Sachin Tendulkar anthem by the ‘Kolaveri Di’ singer Dhanush may not have created the right buzz for the star cricketer, but a recent song on Shahrukh Khan sung by the young singer Neha Kakkar has got all the Shahrukh Khan fans crooning Shahrukh.. Sharukh... The video is on Youtube and has been received with a tremendous response by the fans.

Neha Kakkar, who herself is a self-proclaimed Shahrukh Khan fan, has managed to steal thousands of hearts with her song dedicated to the Baadshah of Bollywood. The song originally posted as ‘Neha Kakkar Shah Rukh Khan Song’ is now called the ‘Shah Rukh Khan anthem’.

With easy lyrics that has names of almost all the movies of Shahrukh Khan, Neha sings Na Jagi Na Hosh Raha.. Shahrukh Shahrukh... The romantic music of the song is by Tony Kakkar. The video came in the last week of February and has slowly become a rage on the web with over 1,61,000 views till now. The fans have also posted heartfelt comments.

One of the recent post by a fan reads, “This is exactly what i have 2 say about the Shahrukh effect in my life. without watching him my life is incomplete. Honestly!!!”

Titled 'Ishq London'?

A Yash Chopra film is special. The master storyteller returns to the studios with his new film that stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. The on-location pics released by Yash Raj a few days ago have met with an overwhelming response. However, like it happens with every biggie, there's a rumor attached to this keenly anticipated film: The buzz is that the veteran film-maker has decided to title this film ISHQ LONDON.

Though Yash Raj has not issued any official communication about the title yet [it's referred to as 'Yash Chopra's next directorial venture' in all correspondence], one wonders how the title in question [ISHQ LONDON] started doing the rounds in the first place. "There's no truth to it. It's not got a title yet," a source close to Yash Raj confirmed to this writer.

So, all those curious to know whether the film is indeed titled ISHQ LONDON, well, you have the answer now. Yash Raj is expected to reveal the 'actual title' shortly.

Amrita Rao wants to romance SRK!

The pretty girl next door image holds true for Amrita Rao, even after almost ten years in the Hindi film industry. The traditionally beautiful actress made her debut at a very early age with late Raj Kanwar's AB KE BARAS (2002), but it was Ken Ghosh's ISHQ VISHQ, the very next year, opposite Shahid Kapoor, that saw her rise to fame.

Shah Rukh knows how to remain the undisputed king of hearts.

Mumbai: Behind the scenes of a commercial, the Badshah of Bollywood -- Shah Rukh Khan -- recently revealed his larger than life dreams.

Letting out his secret formula for stardom, SRK said, "I still want to make it larger and I dream of how to do it everyday."

A modest SRK also spoke about his love for his craft.

"I am an actor, I love to act. I don't care about how big or small the canvas may be," he said.

Shah Rukh, it seems, knows how to remain the undisputed king of hearts.

London Ishq is not the confirm title.

It’s confirmed now: Shah Rukh Khan’s forthcoming film, directed by Yash Chopra, is not titled London Ishq.

It was a rumour that appeared out of nowhere a while ago leading many to believe this piece of news.

A source says, “It is surprising to see such news spread especially when the media has been duly presented with a lot of information about the film. In fact, there are even stills of Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif that have been released to the media, which is very uncharacteristic of the Yash Raj banner, that’s known to be a stickler for privacy, especially during the making of a film.”

The production house is not very pleased with such rumours, even though it gave the film its fair share of publicity. So YRF has been prompt in issuing a formal statement by Rafiq Gangjee, vice president, saying, “No, London Ishq is not the title of the film.”

So keep guessing!
